"Tuerong is more or less in the midlands of the Mornington Peninsula, where the pinot noir is often richer. This release fits that mould, though lively acidity and spot-on balance keeps it feeling fresh, even refreshing. Cherry-plum, chicory, wood spice and orange rind flavours are the main conduits. Depth, mouthfeel and balance are its keys."
Campbell Mattinson - The Wine Front
"2015 wines are rich yet medium body with excellent perfume & very fine tannins. The lack of excessive heat and cooler nights was excellent for retaining acidity and all the wines, regardless of their origin, display a fresh vibrancy that provides a refreshing counterpoint to rich mid-palates. All the wines have excellent balance which should see develop well and improve for many years."
