"Three vintages in, and I’d say this is the best Chardonnay release to date. It’s juicy and slightly spicy biscuity with nectarine and citrus flavours, and a subtle mint perfume above. Light to medium bodied, smooth and gentle, some crunchy grapefruity acidity in with the cashew creaminess, and a clean finish of good length. Lovely to drink. Nicely done."

"I aim for structure and complexity in Chardonnay. For me, it is all about harvesting in the citrus and stone fruit flavour spectrum, along with gentle basket pressing direct to barrel. I allow the wine to ferment naturally, and encourage complexity by occasionally stirring the lees through the wine over a nine month period. A very simple and minimal input process, that I feel allows the wine to best express the grape variety, and the season in which it was grown."
