Varietal(s): 100% Pinot Gris

Hand-picked, whole-bunch pressed, wild yeast ferment in a 1200l foudre and stainless steel. Australian pinot gris seldom displays complexity, but here you have it. Aromas range through rose water and poached pears, grape skin and ginger, a similar suite of flavours present on the long and textured palate. Juicy, slightly astringent acidity completes the finish.

You heard it first from us back in 2012, Pinot Gris is officially ‘the next big thing’.  Apparently there are now more Pinot Gris vines in Australia than there are Riesling vines and there are more Pinot Gris vines in Australia than in France!  In France, Pinot Gris is grown in Alsace, in Australia it is grown everywhere.  Region and climate are as important as winemaking style.  Our Pinot Gris is all from cool climate vineyards yielding less than 2 tonne/acre.  Our low yield and natural yeast ferments ensure our style is intensely aromatic, flavoursome, rich, spicy and textural.  Discover for yourself!! We offer FREE delivery (single location only) for purchases over HK$1,200.

For orders under HK$1,200, a delivery charge of HK$150 shall apply.  

The delivery service is available from Monday to Saturday. We will deliver within two working days for orders received by 3:00pm Monday to Friday, depending on the delivery area. Orders received on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays will be delivered the day following the next working day.

2. South Lantau:

 

We offer FREE delivery (single location only) for purchases over HK$2,500.

For orders under HK$2,500, a delivery charge of HK$300 shall apply.  

 

The delivery service is available Tuesday & Wednesday. 

 

3. Discovery Bay:

We offer FREE delivery (single location only) for purchases over HK$3,500.

For orders under HK$3,500, a delivery charge of HK$500 shall apply.  

The delivery service is available on Thursday only.

 

Delivery service will be suspended when typhoon signal No.8 or above or a black rain warning is hoisted. In this event, customers will be contacted to re-schedule the delivery time.  

We reserve the right to charge an additional delivery fee if the recipient is not available to accept the delivery at the given delivery time and delivery needs to be rescheduled.  

It is the responsibility of the customer to notify Oz Terroirs immediately of any change to their delivery address or contact details.

Pinot Gris from Mount Gambier direct pressed for soft extraction of colour and phenolics. Fermented and aged in stainless steel to showcase the purity of fruit and left on lees for 5 months for a gentle yeasty complexity and texture. Made with varietal perfume and crisp texture in mind.

The colour has a golden hue with ever so light pink reflections. Beautifully expressive, full of orchard fruits, yellow pears and red apples, tangerine peel, honeyed blossoms and a hint of tropical fruits like pineapple skin. Then comes freshly baked brioche, that tasty leesy complexity. Flavours have a lovely ginger spice, a crunchy bite that makes your mouth water and a dust of cinnamon to top things off. A true, expressive and textural Gris with a great refreshment factor.
